La dimensione della calotta varia tra 15 mm e 40 mm. La spirale striata è leggermente tubercolata. La spirale del corpo è granulare, striata verso la base. Il colore del guscio è bianco, castano o cioccolato marmorizzato, con file di punte rotanti di castagno.
