Wahoo (Acanthocybium solandri) is a large predatory North American marine fish. It has an elongated, elegant body and is one of the fastest fish in the ocean. Belonging to the same family as tuna and mackerel, wahoo's dense flesh reminds one of mackerel and is highly praised for its culinary value, although it does carry a risk for ciguatera poisoning.
