Description
A common sea creature in the waters of Australia and New Zealand, the waratah anemone attaches itself to rocky overhangs and boulders. When tidewaters cover the waratah anemone, its tentacles are revealed, resembling an open flower. When the water recedes the tentacles retract, making this anemone look like nothing more than a small red blob.
