Description
The ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a rather small marine fish beloved in the aquarium trade. When a surface-swimming juvenile matures, it will migrate downward to find a sea anemone with which to make its home. It will then spend the rest of its life with that one single anemone. The fish produces mucus that protects from anemone stings, and helps to clean the anemone in return for the safety it provides.
