Description
Like all clownfish, saddleback clownfish (Amphiprion polymnus) is notable for its symbiotic mutualism with various species of sea anemone. A sequential hermaphrodite, the breeding female is the largest fish in the group; if she should die or disappear, the breeding male will change to female, and the largest non-breeding male will become the new breeding male.
