Description
It feeds on small invertebrates such as wild shrimps and other small crabs. Jewelry boxfish are 15 centimeters long. The fish show a clear gender dimorphism. While the males show a dense pattern of blue, darkly ringed spots on a yellow background on their sides, the females have wavy stripes on their flanks. Jewelry boxfish are loners.
