Titan triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens) is an Indo-Pacific triggerfish that lives in lagoons and reefs. Known to be territorial when guarding its nest, this fish has charged at and bitten human divers entering its territory. The titan triggerfish is caught commercially and sold at some markets, despite the risk its consumption carries for ciguatera poisoning.
