Description
Blue runner (Caranx crysos) live in tropical to temperate regions of the Atlantic Ocean, congregating in large shoals. Though not considered a high-end table fish, the blue runner is still important to commercial fisheries. Eating this fish does carry a risk for ciguatera poisoning. It also gets used as bait for catching larger fish.
