As the name implies, the upside-down jellyfish swims opposite of other jellyfish, with its bell toward the ocean floor and its arms extended towards the sun. Commonly found living in colonies in mangrove forests and along coastal regions, the upside-down jellyfish survives off the algae it collects in its tissues and the zooplankton that swim by.
