Considered a culinary delicacy in Japan, the jelly blubber can be dried and prepared safely, despite its stinging venom. This is one of the most common jellyfish along the coast of Australia. Its bell-like structure is home to several stinging tentacles, which it uses to catch crustaceans and other small organisms.
