Description
The silvery, high-backed and laterally flattened body shows a series of narrow black longitudinal stripes and a wide black stripe on the head that runs over the eyes. The black band that stretches along the back from the middle area of the dorsal fin to the base of the tail is striking. The rear areas of the dorsal and anal fin, on the other hand, are strikingly yellow.
