Description
European bullhead (Cottus gobio) is a freshwater river fish that lives throughout Europe, occasionally used as bait but otherwise ignored by humans. During mating, males dig shallow hollows in the riverbed where females deposit batches of eggs. The distinctively-shaped european bullhead was featured on European stamps in 1913.
