Description
Painted sweetlips (Diagramma pictum) is a lively-colored marine fish found in the western Indo-Pacific. It is often found in turbid, sheltered waters, preferring habitats with a lot of cover like bays and estuaries, or open bottoms with caves, debris, or wrecked ships. It is sold as a food fish, although it can be ciguatoxic in some areas, and as an aquarium fish.
