Description
The buoy-forming duck mussel (Dosima fascicularis) is - beside Dosima guanamuthui (Daniel 1971) - the only kind of the kind Dosima and belongs to the order of the barnacles. It is considered the most highly specialized duck mussel in the pleuston.
