Description
Ladyfish (Elops saurus) are marine fish that live in the temperate and subtropical regions of the Atlantic Ocean. They spawn in the open ocean where they're hard to observe, so little is known about the life of the young fry. Ladyfish move closer to shore in their juvenile stage, and can tolerate a wide range of salinity. Once fully mature, they return to deeper waters, though they usually stay high in the water column.
