Found all around the waters of Florida and the Gulf, the longnose killifish is a topminnow with a silver body and dark vertical stripes. It feeds on crustaceans and grows up to 10 - 13 cm long. The longnose killifish is preyed on by many birds and fish including the Reddish egret and the Channel bass.
