Description
The long-spined hussar (Holocentrus rufus), also called the Caribbean squirrel fish, is a fish from the family of the soldier and hussar fish and is assigned to the subfamily of the hussar fish. He lives in the tropical western Atlantic from southern Florida to Bermuda, the northwest Gulf of Mexico and the Antilles to the north coast of South America. It occurs up to a depth of 35 meters.
