Spangled emperor (Lethrinus nebulosus) is a fish found in marine and brackish waters throughout the Indo-West Pacific. It is usually associated with reefs, where it feeds mostly on invertebrates. It is popular in both recreational and commercial fishing. The meat is considered to be of very good taste, though cases of ciguatera poisoning have been noted.
