Description
Atlantic tripletail (Lobotes surinamensis) can be found sporadically in warm waters around the world, in some places commercially harvested. This fish has an interesting survival quirk - because it is a sluggish swimmer, it is often seen floating on its side near the ocean surface, camouflaging itself among the other floating objects. Young fish have the appearance of dry leaves while floating.
