Description
Commonly found along the reefs of Tanzania, the dory snapper is often confused with the One-spot snapper, due to its large black spot. However, the dory snapper is more colorful, with yellow stripes and fins offsetting a pink face. This fish is collected for the aquarium trade and some food fish markets, and is considered a decent gamefish.
