Hooded nudibranch (Melibe leonina) is a predatory marine gastropod mollusc with a soft body. The hooded nudibranch lives on seagrass and kelp along the western coast of North America from Alaska to California. This species is normally observed adhering to seagrass or kelp, but is capable of swimming. It swims mainly at night.
