Description
The bluespine unicornfish is a very large tangfish native to reefs in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, all the way down to the Australian coast. Adults develop a distinctive "horn" on the forehead, which can change color during mating displays. This feature makes the bluespine unicornfish desirable to some aquarium keepers despite its large size - it requires a tank of 150 gallons or more.
