Description
The yellow boxfish (Ostracion cubicus), as its name suggests, is an oddly-shaped fish. It lives in ocean reefs around the world, but its range in the Atlantic is relatively limited. If threatened or startled, the yellow boxfish can release a neurotoxin into the water. It is still a popular fish in the aquarium trade, although one wrong move can cause it to kill all the other fish in the tank.
