Description
Dusky flathead (Platycephalus fuscus) is a large predatory fish native to the brackish waters of Australia. The largest of the flatheads, some specimens as long as 3 m have been caught. This is a popular species in the region for both commercial and recreational fishing, even though the spines at the sides of its head are sharp enough to draw blood with improper handling.
