Description
The regal angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus) lives among coral reefs in Indo-Pacific waters. They perform a sort of spiraling dance near the water's surface when it is time to release their sperm or eggs. Though their bright colors make regal angelfish desirable to aquarists, they are notoriously difficult to keep healthy in captivity.
