Description
The flower leopard ear snail (scientific name: Pythia pantherina), also known as the leopard female priest snail, is a member of the genus Flat ear snails of the family Cochleaidae. In the past, the genus Pleurotus belonged to the basal order and primitive pulmonary order. It is distributed on the intertidal rocks in the South China Sea, mainly in Taiwan, but also in Hainan Island, Japan, and the Philippines.
