Description
The boomerang triggerfish (Sufflamen bursa), also known as white-bellied triggerfish, lives in the western Indo-Pacific from East Africa to Hawaii, the Marquesas, north to southern Japan and south to the Great Barrier Reef, New Caledonia, Rapa and Ducie. It lives individually or in pairs on hidden outer reefs below the surf zone at depths of three to 90 meters.
