Description
A colorful fish, the saddle wrasse is native to coastal Hawaii and Johnston Island. It is called a saddle wrasse because it has a red saddle-shaped coloring behind its pectoral fins. Like other wrasses, it can change sexes and colors as it matures. Most are born as females and later change to males as they get older.
